On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Iraq on the sidelines of IQDEX 2024 exhibition

H.E. Viktar Rybak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Türkiye, visited the international defense exhibition IQDEX 2024, taking place on March 20 – 23, 2024 in Baghdad (Republic of Iraq) under the patronage of H.E. Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq.
The Republic of Belarus is represented at the IQDEX 2024 exhibition by products of enterprises of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and private Belarusian companies. The Belarusian exposition aroused interest among the Iraqi officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Iraq, as well as the Iraqi security representatives.
At the invitation of the Belarusian organizers, H.E. Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Iraq personally got acquainted with the assortment of our domestic exposition. In the Belarusian pavilion, Ambassador of Belarus held a meeting “on his feet” with the Iraqi Minister. The interlocutors discussed issues of bilateral contacts between law enforcement agencies of Belarus and Iraq.
