Belarusian Ambassador presents his credentials to President Erdoğan

On December 10, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey, Victor Rybak, presented his credentials in his name and letters of recall of Andrei Savinykh, to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 

 The key topic of the conversation was the discussion of the implementation of Belarusian-Turkish agreements, reached during the highest level negotiations within the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to Ankara in April 2019.

During the meeting there was confirmed a high level of bilateral political relations and mutual understanding between the leaders of the two countries.

In the context of the highest level agreements, the sides emphasized the importance of further increase of bilateral trade and the need to take certain practical steps to achieve a balance in bilateral trade relations. In this regard, there were considered promising projects of trade, economic and investments cooperation.

 

  At the end of the conversation, the President of Turkey was informed about the upcoming visit of the head of the National Library of Belarus to Ankara aiming to donate the special edition of Belarusian books in the context of a large-scale projects ”Belarus today” to the Presidential Library of Turkey. 

As part of the official entry on duty, Ambassador Victor Rybak participated in the ceremony of laying a wreath at the tomb of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the ”Anıtkabir“ mausoleum the following day.
