Ambassador of Belarus V.Rybak conducts a business visit to Kocaeli and Istanbul

On February 26-28, 2020, Viсtor Rybak, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey, paid a working visit to Kocaeli and Istanbul.

During the visit on February 26, the Ambassador of Belarus took part in the event ”Day of Belarus’ Economy “ on the premises of the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry. During the event, the business community of the region got acquainted with the conditions for investing capital in the Republic of Belarus and development of bilateral trade.

V.Rybak visited one of the companies of Kocaeli, which showed interest in development of industrial cooperation jointly with a resident-company of the FEZ ”Grodnoinvest“.

On February 27 in Istanbul, the Ambassador of Belarus visited the joint stand of Belarusian petrochemical producers ”Made in Belarus“ in the framework of the international exhibition ”Istanbul Yarn Fair 2020“. During the exhibition, there were reached agreements on concluding of two contracts for the supply of Belarusian petrochemical products to Turkey.

During the visit to Istanbul, V. Rybak as well met with the management of one of the largest multiprofile holdings in Turkey and held negotiations on the implementation of a project together with the concern ”Belneftekhim“ in Belarus, and also discussed other issues that are of interest for building mutually beneficial cooperation.
