Ambassador of Belarus V.Rybak conducts a business visit to Bursa

On March 23-24, 2021, Viсtor Rybak, Ambassador of Belarus to Turkey, paid a working visit to Bursa.

For reference. Bursa is the fourth largest administrative center of the province of the same name in Turkey. Bursa is possessing over developed automotive, textile, chemical and a number of other industrial sectors.

During the visit the Belarusian Ambassador held business meetings with the Governor of Bursa province, Yakup Canbolat, and the Mayor of Bursa, Alinur Aktaş. The parties discussed the state and prospects of development of trade and investment cooperation between Bursa and the Republic of Belarus, also
in the regional aspect. An agreement was reached to intensify business contacts between Bursa and the Mogilev region.

Presentations of the trade and economic potential of Belarus were held on the basis of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Exporters Association ”UIB“.

V.Rybak presented trade proposals of Belarusian business entities, interested in supplying products to Turkey and developing cooperation with Turkish businessmen.

The parties discussed the possibility of organizing a bilateral webinar between businessmen of the two countries in June this year.

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission held a meeting with the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Bursa Aybar Uluca and discussed the action plan for the development of interregional cooperation for 2021.

During the visit the Ambassador of Belarus visited the Turkish production company ”Albayrak Makina“, which cooperates with the state enterprise ”Minsk metro“ on putting into operation of the third Minsk metro line.
