Ambassador of Belarus V.Rybak conducts a business visit to Antalya and Alanya

On February 17-18, 2020, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Turkey Victor Rybak paid a working visit to Antalya and Alanya with the participation of Honorary Consuls of Belarus in these cities – Laçin Mirza and Fatih Akin.

During the meetings with the Governor of Antalya Ersin Yazıci, the Mayor of the city of Alanya Murat Yücel, the leadership of the Chambers of Commerce of Antalya and Alanya, the Agricultural Chamber of Alanya and the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association of Turkey (MÜSIAD) were discussed promising avenues of development of trade-economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation of the Southern region of Turkey and the Republic of Belarus. The head of the diplomatic mission presented trade proposals of Belarusian business entities interested in supplying products to Turkey and the development of cooperation with the Turkish business. The Turkish side showed particular interest in innovative developments in the field of organic fertilizers.

During the visit, the issues of implementing the project of the International Music Festival “East-West” in Alanya were discussed in detail. As a result of the meetings, including with the producer company, an agreement was previously reached on expanding the geography of the festival, including Antalya.

In the context of cooperation in the field of education, the Head of the diplomatic mission held a meeting with the Rector of the University of Alanya “HEP” Ekrem Ozkul. The parties discussed the possibilities of mutually beneficial academic cooperation.
