On the visit of Ambassador of Belarus to Türkiye to the organized industrial zone ”Ostim“

On July 21, 2026, the Ambassador of Belarus to Türkiye, Anatoly Glaz, visited the Ostim Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) in Ankara, which is one of Türkiye's largest manufacturing hubs.
For reference. The OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone is Ankara’s largest and most renowned industrial zone, located in the northwest of the Turkish capital.
The OSTİM production hub was established in 1967 and is today one of Türkiye's largest clusters of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises, which is considered to be a model of regional industrial development.
Approximately 6,500 small and medium-sized enterprises operate within OSTİM, employing around 65,000 people. The zone covers a total area of up to 500 hectares.
OSTİM is regarded as Türkiye's leader in industrial clustering.
Anatoly Glaz held talks with Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of the Ostim Industrial Zone, regarding the intensification of joint work in industrial cooperation between Belarusian and Turkish enterprises as well as the mutual supply of products.
During the visit, a roundtable discussion was held with the heads of Ostim enterprise clusters regarding cooperation with Belarus’s free economic zones and the Great Stone Industrial Park, as well as the development of pilot projects to establish manufacturing facilities for agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and automotive components.
A number of specific agreements have been reached on the further development of cooperation.
The Ambassador of Belarus to Ankara visited a number of Ostim resident companies specializing in metalworking, mining industry and the manufacture of medical devices.
A delegation of the Ostim companies plans to visit Minsk and one of the country’s regional centers to consolidate existing agreements and identify new areas for industrial cooperation between Belarus and Türkiye.
