The Ambassador of Belarus paid a working visit to Kahramanmaraş city

On 23 November 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Viktar Rybak paid a working visit to Kahramanmaraş City.

For reference: The largest earthquake with its epicenter in Kahramanmaraş occurred in Türkiye on 6 February 2023.

Ambassador of Belarus V. Rybak met with the Governor of province M. Ünlüer, Mayor of Kahramanmaraş City H. Güngör and the Chairman of one of Kahramanmaraş’ districts H.Mahçiçek.

During the visit, the meeting with the Leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kahramanmaraş and representatives of business circles of the region was also held.

The meetings focused on the participation of Belarusian enterprises and organizations in the reconstruction of the earthquake-damaged regions of Kahramanmaraş province. The proposals of the Belarusian enterprises for the supply of construction materials were handed over to the Turkish Side for consideration. At the meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kahramanmaraş, there was reached an agreement to exchange business delegations together with branches of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
