On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq on the sidelines of ADF

As the Head of the Belarusian delegation H.E. Viktar Rybak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Türkiye, participated in the third Antalya Diplomatic Forum (ADF, Forum) on the topic “Increasing the role of diplomacy in times of crisis” which was held on March 1 – l3, 2024 in Antalya (Antalya province, Türkiye) under the patronage of H.E. R.T. Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye and on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye.

On the sidelines of the Forum Ambassador held a meeting with H.E.F. Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq. The interlocutors discussed issues of bilateral contacts between Belarus and Iraq at a high level, as well as interaction on international platforms.

The Belarusian delegation included director O.Makarov and an analyst of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research (BISR). With the assistance of the Belarusian Embassy, O.Makarov met with the leaders and experts of the leading “think tanks” of Türkiye.
