About the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus to Türkiye with the Chairman of the Supreme Election Council of Türkiye

On January 12, 2026, the Ambassador of Belarus to Türkiye Anatoli Glaz held a meeting with the Chairman of the Supreme Election Council of Türkiye Ahmet Yener.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the outcomes of the visit of the delegation of the Turkish election authority to the Republic of Belarus in October 2025, within the framework of which a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus and the Supreme Election Council of the Republic of Türkiye was signed, and also considered the progress of the practical implementation of the agreements reached.

The interlocutors noted the high level of professional interaction between the election bodies of the two countries and discussed priority areas for further interagency cooperation, including the exchange of experience in the organization and conduct of electoral campaigns, as well as possible prospective joint activities.
