On the participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum

On 11-13 April 2025, the Belarusian delegation, which includes the Ambassador of Belarus to Türkiye Anatoli Glaz, Director of Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research Oleg Makarov, belarusian diplomats and analysts, participates in the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2025).
One of the largest specialized events in the region, held under the theme of “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World,” was personally opened on 11th of April, 2025 by Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
This year the Forum gathered over 450 representatives from approximately 140 countries, including more than 20 heads of states and governments, 74 ministers, speakers of parliaments and other high-ranking guests. Among them were the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Hungary Viktor Orban, the President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Mohammed Al-Thani, the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the Foreign Minister of Hungary Peter Siarto.
On the margins of the Forum, a series of meetings took place between the Belarusian delegation and the leadership of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as partners from other countries. They discussed the issues of bilateral relations in addition to the global agenda with a focus on economic issues and various aspects of Eurasian security.
Oleg Makarov, Director of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research, also negotiated with colleagues from leading think tanks in Türkiye and other countries.
